White Wonderland of Blossoms

First of all, may I say that I have neglected to post as I wanted to put up Mary's birthday pictures, but I haven't put much effort into getting them from either Grandpa. So those will come soon...

Today I took the kids to look at some almond tree blossoms nearby. Can I say WOW?? Simply lovely, one of the perks of living in the valley (which, to it's credit, is simply beautiful on clear days after a good rain. Shame what pollution does). Horay for Spring!

Bubbles and Ballerinas

Like most kids, mine are crazy about bathtime, especially if bubbles are involved. Russell has trucks and animals in the tub while Mary has dinosaurs, Piglet, and a little plastic panda. There is nothing sweeter than to hear them laugh with each other, giggling in their fun little world.

and...

The other day Mary came into the front room after properly dressing herself in her "balla-reena" outfit. "Ohh, Mary!" I said. "How beautiful! I just have to take a picture." So she posed and did a dance and a jump for the camera.

PS To my San Diego aunties and uncle, thank you for their gifts! Among other items, the cheerleader bear has become the universal 'Mother' Bear for all animals in the house and Chutes and Ladders is wonderful for our family game nite. Thank you :)
